Don & Candyce were married March 16, 2002, 7 months after their first meeting. They both knew right from the start that they were what God had in plan for the other. Don first drove a tractor at age 6 and began farming on his own by age 16. He bought his first combine at 19 and bought out his dad’s partners interest in Cooter Farms in 1999. In 2004, Don & Candyce began Tims Farms 3 years later they bought out Don’s father’s interest in Cooter Farms, and re-named it Tims Farms. God has blessed their buisiness and it provides greatly for their growing family. Being self-employed is also a blessing, because “Daddy” is just a call or visit away! The kids love their “Field trips” to ride the tractor and Combine with daddy! Shop work becomes family time and rainy days and most of the winter ”daddy” is home!
In 2004, the Lord called Don to preach. He pastored a country church in Hayti, MO for 5 years and the Lord has currently let their family to to Tyler Baptist Church. They Love their church family and are grateful that God has led them there to minister.

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:4-5
