What We Believe…And you should too!

We believe the sixty-six books of the King James Version, nothing added or deleted, constitute the whole of Scripture “given by inspiration of God” to English speaking people.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever. Psalm 119:160

see also 2 Peter 1:20-21

We believe in one triune God, creator of all that is, existing in the Godhead, in perfection, before and independent of His creation. He is entire goodness, benevolent, all wise, and infinite in His attributes (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; John 14:10, 26).

We believe Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin and walked this earth in human flesh, is the creator of Heaven and earth, (John 1:1-3) Christ, being the eternal God came to this earth and gave up his life on the cross of calvary for the sins of the world (Is. 7:14; 9:6; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-2, 14; 2 Cor. 5:19-21; Gal. 4:4-5; Phil. 2:5-8). He was raised from the dead on the third day in order to  justify all who would be saved (Acts 2:18-36; Rom. 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Eph. 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3-5). He is presently seated on the right hand of the Father, and will bodily, visibly return to the earth for his own (Acts 1:9-10; Heb. 9:24; 7:25; Rom. 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2). One day he will reign and rule on this earth for 1,000 years in a literal physical kingdom (revelation 20)

We believe the Holy Spirit shares all the attributes of the Father and Son. The earthly ministry of the Holy Spirit is to manifest the Son to mankind, and to minister God’s presence to the world (John 16:8-11; Rom. 8:9, Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12: 4-11, 12-14, 28; 2 Cor. 3:6; Eph. 1:13-14, 17-18; Eph. 4:7-12; Eph. 5:18; 1 John 2:20, 27).

We believe that man was created in the span of a twenty-four hour period. In the eating of the tree, the willful and direct disobedience to God resulted in legal estrangement from God and precipitated the curse of death on Adam and all his descendants. All men are born under the curse and totally estranged from God. When a descendant of Adam reaches a level of moral understanding (sometime in his youth) he becomes fully, personally accountable to God and has sin imputed to him, resulting in the peril of eternal damnation. No man is capable of rectifying this state of estrangement from God. Apart from the free gift of God through the substitutionary work of Christ there is no hope of salvation (Rom. 1-3).

Salvation is FREE to all, through the innocent, shed blood of Jesus Christ.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.    2 Peter 3-9

There is Salvation in no other name than JESUS CHRIST…He is the only way!

For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.   Ephesians  2:8-9

(see also Acts 4:12 and John 14:6)

Those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour are eternally secure in HIM.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.   John 10:28

(see also Ephesians 4:30 and Ephesians 1:12-14)

Upon death, those without Christ will immediately enter into a literal, burning, fiery HELL.

Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:     Matthew 25:41

(see also Luke 25:41)
