NEW to the Farmers wife…

Shave Soap $10.00 (8 oz. jar) or $25.00 for soap and a Badger Hair Shave Brush

Designed to be used with a shave brush. This makes for an old fashioned barbershop shave! Contains bentonite clay for slip and rosemary, peppermint and tea tree essential oils and vitamin E. It contains lots of skin nourishing oils, olive, coconut, grape seed, and castor bean to name a few and has an awesome lather. Use with your own shave brush, or buy one of ours for $15.00 extra. This leaves your face moisturized, smelling great and with a slight tingle!

Oatmeal & Vitamin E – $5.00 a bar

Made with finely ground, old fashioned oatmeal and vitamin E oil. Oatmeal restores the skin naturally, replacing its pH balance and moisturizing it with the healthy fats it contains. It dosesn’t dry the skin out like other products containing chemicals. It has polysaccharides that protect the skin from getting dull and flaky. For oily skin, this product is a natural absorbent. As this soap gently exfoliates your skin, it has polyphenols that prevent acne. This product is also known for relieving itching, inflammation, chickenpox, and dermatitis. It especially soothes itching from poison oak, poison ivy, poison sumac, rashes, and insect bites.

Citrus Blemish Bar – $5.00 a bar

This is made with rosemary infused olive oil and contains orange and tea tree essential oils and bentonite clay. It makes a wonderful acne bar and has a lovely citrus sent. 100% natural soap that can be used on the face without fear of drying. There is a certain amount of toning, astringent here, but not the sort of drying out that actually causes the oil glands to produce more oil, hence the cycle of breakouts. Filled with skin loving and nourishing as well as healing oils, butters and essential oils. All the natural glycerin is left in homemade soap, leaving in the natural moisturizing benefits.

ARTHUR’S ACHE Hot pepper Balm – $5.00 a jar (4 oz.)

Contains hot cayenne peppers, arnica flowers, turmeric root and ginger root and peppermint Essential Oil.
Arnica – arnica flowers have be…en used in European folk medicine for centuries. Arnica is a well-known anti-inflammatory herb that really works miracles on sore muscles, sprains, and bruises by helping to improve the local blood supply and speed up healing.

Cayenne – The main ingredient in this salve, cayenne pepper, is a naturally anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic. Cayenne pepper contains a constituent called capsaicin. The reason that cayenne works so well for muscle and nerve pain is because the capsaicin blocks a neurotransmitter, called Substance P (SP), that transmits pain signals from the nerves to the central nervous system. When cayenne is used topically, it can help relieve all sorts of pain, from neuropathy, back pain, muscles spasms, menstrual cramps, and even arthritis.

Ginger root – Used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine for all sorts of ailments including arthritis and muscle pain, ginger has undergone clinical studies for its anti-inflammatory abilities. The warming abilities of ginger help to improve circulation and relieve tension in tired muscles.

Turmeric –Turmeric has numerous healing properties to it that not only help to ease muscle strain and pain, but also arthritis and joint inflammation. One of the constituents that give turmeric its superhero status, is curcumin, which naturally helps to lower the levels of enzymes within our body that cause inflammation.

The Farmer’s Wife Healing Balm – $5.00 a jar (4 oz.)

Contains Lemon, Melaleuca, Lavender Essential Oils and Vitamin E. Although a gardener’s salve was the original use, there are many uses for this All-Purpose Save and… the list of uses keeps on growing! Here’s a few ideas:
1. Extreme hand moisturizer, a farmer or gardeners best friend!
2. Dry, cracked heels and crusty elbows.
3. All-purpose moisturizer for dryer climes. (Use sparingly on your face! It works that well!)
4. Soothes and heals chapped lips.
5. Soothes welts, burns and insect bites or bee sting!
6. Great for diaper rash.
7. Keep your animals in mind! Sunburned noses, gashes, heat spots and post-surgical wounds. The taste of Lavender and Melaleuca keep your pets from licking wounds – bonus!! Do not use on Cats, they are sensitive to the lemon oil in the salve.
8. Antiseptic, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties make it great for cuts, scrapes and post wound care for kids and adults!
9. Wonderful for elderly folks and their thin, fragile skin.
10. Great for scaly scalp! I have used this for cradle cap on my babies.
11. Great for eczema breakouts ~ safe for infants!
12. Hand sanitizer and moisturizer in one!

The Farmers Wife Wrinkle Cream $10.00 (3 oz. jar)

Made with all natural ingredients and preservatives. We can’t make your wrinkles go away but we can prevent them for a while! Grannies wrinkle cream has a coconut oil base with vitamin e, avocado oil. apricot oil, avocado oil and sunflower oil and Lavender and Geranium essential oils. Lavender and geranium essential oils were chosen because they work well with all skin types. This is an awesome moisturizer!

Coconut Cream Pie Lotion $5.00 (4 oz. jar)

This can be used as a lotion, body butter or hair conditioner. It was originally formulated as an udder balm for our milk goats. You can thank Merry and Mushy! Contains Coconut oil, Lavender and tea tree oil. A little goes a long way, this little jar will last you forever!!!!

Rose Sugar Scrub $10.00 (8 oz. jar)

Contains turbinado sugar, coconut oil, shea butter, rose petals, vitamin E and almond, avocado and apricot oil. This is an awesome exfoliator for rough skin and leaves skin feeling moisturized and smelling like a rose!

Made with rose clay and rose absolute Essential Oil. This is an incredibly luxurious spa soap. It has a Goat milk base and Rose Clay for its purifying and cleansing properties. It also contains Rose Essential oil which is great for dry or aging skin.

Lemongrass & Honey – $5.00 a bar

Made with Lemongrass Tea and lemon Essential Oil and ginger. Lemongrass tea has a light citrus smell and is said to be rejuvenating and stimulating. Lemon Essential Oil is a powerful anti-oxidant and supports the nervous system. This makes a great hand soap and will get rid of fishy smells.

Brown Sugar & Vanilla Oatmeal – $5.00 a bar

Made with finely ground old fashioned oatmeal and swirled with brown sugar and Vanilla Essential Oil. This makes a great body bar. The brown sugar added makes a light exfoliator and it looks and smells good enough to eat!

Rosemary and Patchouli – Love Bar – $5.00 a bar

Rosemary has a sweet aroma, it is known for its energizing properties and it is a great skin care additive. Patchouli is also known as the scent of the sixties, it has a musky, earthy aroma, and is used a lot in eastern cultures. It is said to be an aphrodisiac!

Pineapple Sage and Rosemary – $5.00 a bar

Sweet and Spicy Bar. All Herbs are grown in my garden and harvested by me. Sage is a spicy aroma and is used in Europe traditionally to cleanse the skin. It is recognized for its ability to strengthen the senses. Rosemary has a sweet aroma and is a popular ingredient in skin and hair products, it may also be helpful in restoring mental alertness.

Charcoal & Roses – $5.00 a bar

Rose Clay and activated charcoal with Rose Absolute Essential Oil. This is a facial in a bar! Added bonus is the activated charcoal. Made with Rose Clay and Rose Absolute Essentia…l Oil. This is an incredibly luxurious spa soap. It is made with a Goat milk base and Rose Clay. A mild Kaolin clay, Rose clay is known to clean and purify the skin. Rich in minerals, most notably the Iron that gives the soap a rosy color, this clay acts as a mild exfoliant while also drawing impurities from the skin. It also contains Rose Essential oil which is great for dry or aging skin. Activated Charcoal has long been used for bee stings and poisonings and has an amazing ability to remove toxins from the body. It is used to treat acne and improve skin.
